It seems incredible that H&T, the Hall of innovation in hospitality and tourism only lasts three days. It seems impossible precisely because of the number of stands, visitors, activities and business opportunities that are collected in the halls of the Palace of Fairs and Congresses.
The ideal of a fair like H&T is that it is a meeting place for large brands, international and national suppliers and small businesses that are making their product or service known, such as in the innovation stands of the Andalusian Government or the companions no longer so small that make up the brand Sabor a Malaga. To this successful cocktail are added, of course, private visitors who are dying to taste different samples or students from various hospitality schools who walk ojipláticos for the more than 20,000 square meters enabled for this occasion and for the numerous activities and workshops prepared especially for them.
H&T Workshop Classroom
It was precisely in the sector known as “Aula Taller” where Matteo Manzato did his thing again presenting a recipe for his already famous fusion cuisine, Ravioli with fresh sausage and walnuts with truffle velouté. Using products from La Contadina, trusted suppliers of our restaurant, the chef held a workshop to teach attendees how to make good use of fresh pasta. Theory, practical tricks, versatility in the use of products, different results … all of these were noted by young people who curiously approached the kitchen to take photos, ask questions or simply observe carefully the preparation process.
After this session, two things became clear: that fusion cuisine consists of the union of different cultures and that Matteo Manzato’s recipe was an absolute success, you just had to see the faces of the students!
H&T, in summary, has been a new opportunity to meet new products, meet with colleagues in the sector, visit suppliers and attract new customers. An essential appointment in the Venetiis Restaurant calendar, and which we do not plan to miss in the coming years.
